Under a blue sky and warm temperatures, nine aircraft of the famous Snowbirds wowed thousands during an air show at the Charlo Regional Airport on Saturday.
The 431 Air Demonstration Squadron is an ambassador of the Canadian Armed Forces that travels across the country to inspire young people and future generations with its aerial performances.
“Even if it’s not related to aviation, if we can motivate somebody and basically give them hope that they can aspire to something, you know, great or bigger than themselves, we’ve done our job,” said Lieutenant-Colonel Guillaume Paquet, the squadron’s commanding officer.
It was one their final shows this decade.
