The New Brunswick RCMP have identified and seized a vehicle believed to be involved in a fatal hit and run near Oromocto on Tuesday night.
Sgt. Stéphane Esculier of the Oromocto RCMP detachment said in an interview that tips from the public helped police to identify the blue Mitsubishi Lancer that was involved in the hit and run.
“We always appreciate tips from the public,” Esculier said.
He said police have a “person of interest” but no arrest has been made yet.
Esculier confirmed that the Mitsubishi was a New Brunswick vehicle.
On Wednesday, RCMP said a 19-year old man was killed after being struck on the Trans-Canada Highway near Swans Creek,
