A custom-built trailer packed with science equipment is bringing STEAM education directly to First Nations communities across New Brunswick.
The team managing the mobile learning space said it’s designed to make science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) more accessible for First Nations youth by removing barriers to participation.
“Access is one of the big barriers,” said Keisha Nguyen, manager of Wabanaki in Motion.
“So we thought why not bring the education, the equipment and all the stuff that could bring [youth] into post-secondary … right to them?”
