Fredericton police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle that happened Friday.
Officers were dispatched at about 5:50 p.m. to the crash scene at the intersection of Vanier Industrial Drive and Wilsey Road, police said in a Facebook post.
The 17-year-old Fredericton driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital, where he later died.
The driver, a 21-year-old Fredericton man, was not injured, police said.
Fredericton’s major crime team, forensic identification services and the Kennebecasis Valley forensic collision accident team were on the scene.
