A suspended Fredericton lawyer has been found guilty of dozens of complaints of professional misconduct and now faces a sanction hearing by the Law Society of New Brunswick.
The decision against Stephen James Hill was issued this week by the law society’s discipline committee, which said it would proceed next month with the hearing.
Twenty-nine complaints were made against Hill, including failure to complete required work, failure to follow client instructions, and misappropriation of client funds.
The committee’s reasons for its decision are to be published at a later date.
The decision released Monday stems from the law society’s notice of complaint issued to Hill in October.
