Those who have this particular phobia may wish to steer clear of the Grand Manan Museum’s premier exhibit, colloquially known as the bird room, officially as the Allen Moses Bird Collection, which features about 300 specimens that have been stuffed and mounted.
Phobic visitors aside, MJ Edwards, the museum’s executive director, said the exhibit is a hit.
“Most people find this their very favourite exhibit of the entire museum,” Edwards said.
