A woman accused of sexually assaulting a youth at a southeast New Brunswick summer camp won’t enter a plea until next month, after her defence lawyer on Wednesday again asked a Moncton court for more time.

Jennifer Abbott, 46, is accused of sexual assault, and three other related offences.

It’s alleged Abbott sexually assaulted a youth under 16 years old at Camp Ta-Wa-Si, a summer camp in Johnston Point, about 70 kilometres east of Moncton on the Northumberland Strait.

The crimes are alleged to have taken place in August.

A publication ban prohibits the publication of the name of the alleged victim.
