New Brunswick’s consumer price index has cooled off for the first time this year but grocery prices continue to climb, leaving many New Brunswickers feeling little relief.
Bob Hay has watched food prices climb and knows not eating isn’t an option. He’s started approaching his grocery shopping more carefully by looking for deals.
“We’re probably coming to the grocery store more often, looking for the specials and, you know, gearing your menu around what you can save money on,” said Hay.
