Housing, homelessness and industrial expansion are top concerns for candidates in Saint John’s three-way mayoral race.

Incumbent Donna Reardon, who has served two terms as a councillor, is campaigning for a second term as mayor. Ward 2 councillor and retired teacher Barry Ogden as well as veteran and barber shop owner Blaine Harris are also running for mayor. 

Reardon and Ogden spoke to CBC Radio’s Information Morning Saint John about how they will manage issues that at times dominated the council chamber over the previous year — particularly housing and industrial growth.
