Hosted at Government House, Sterling showcases exceptional work by first- and second-year students, highlighting their exploration of form, technique, and material in contemporary metal arts. This annual exhibition offers a glimpse into the next generation of makers shaping the field through craftsmanship and innovation.
A Legacy of Making
Sterling was founded by Brigitte Clavette, a renowned metalsmith, educator, and former head of NBCCD’s Jewellery and Metal Arts program. Her vision established a platform for students to present their work in a professional setting while connecting with the broader community.
