Police say they’ve found no evidence of criminal activity after the discovery of human remains at a structure fire on Fredericton’s north side last week.

Police are still investigating the discovery of a woman’s remains in a wooded area near Two Nations Crossing, said Fredericton Police Force spokesperson Megan Barker in an email Tuesday morning.

“An autopsy has been completed, and efforts to confirm the individual’s identity are ongoing,” Barker said.
