After deliberating for two days, a Saint John jury has found Charles Pleasance and Stephen Martin, charged with being accessories after the fact of a murder, not guilty.
Martin, 67, and Pleasance, 59, were accused of assisting Jinelle Thompson to escape legal consequences, knowing she had murdered 52-year old Allan Christopher Lee.
The 12 jurors delivered their verdict on Friday afternoon.
They began deliberations just after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, continued until past 10 p.m., met again Thursday until 7p.m. and returned 8:30 a.m.
