Four NBCC students who are graduating from the Information Technology—Programmer/Analyst program in a few weeks are completing their practicums with two new firms in Fredericton. Three students (Mitchel, Brandon and Destini, left to right in photo) attend NBCC in Saint John while Thierry (far right in photo) attends the Fredericton campus.
Thierry has been gaining experience in developing websites for clients at IciSites Web Solutions (www.icisites.com). The Saint John programmers have been developing applications for the community social media platform being planned by Rabbit Town Community Media and to be launched at www.whatsup.community.
The two host firms are co-located at 361 Victoria where Krista Ross helped out by permitting the students to use an office that she now has available for rent. The companies and students express their gratitude to Ms Ross for her generosity.
