Story of province’s brush with leprosy on display at Tracadie museum

New Brunswick has more than 100 museums and heritage sites. In our summer series Museum Road Trip, CBC News will highlight eight small-town historic places.

An order of nuns called the Religieuses Hospitalières de Saint-Joseph was once a part of daily life for many in the northeastern New Brunswick community of Tracadie.

The order took care of the sick, operated an orphanage and educated children.
