A 69-year-old man appeared in Saint John court Tuesday to face 14 charges of sexual assault against seniors at a local nursing home.
Kevin McGrath didn’t enter a plea when he appeared in a courtroom packed with family members and supporters of the alleged victims.
The case was adjourned until June 23, so McGrath’s application for legal aid can be processed and he can retain a lawyer.
McGrath, who doesn’t live at the east Saint John home, was arrested March 3 and released on conditions. He will remain free until his next court appearance.
