The provincial court is granting bail for a Saint John man facing a charge for allegedly trying to prevent a witness from testifying against him for a previous charge. 

Stephen Martin, 67, made an appearance at a bail hearing Thursday. He was released with conditions. 

Martin and co-accused Charles Pleasance were recently on trial for being an accessory after the fact of a murder.
