A Saint John councillor wants regular reports from a community security team launched to help reduce crime that’s affecting businesses in the city core.
Coun. Greg Norton introduced his proposal through a notice of motion at Monday night’s council meeting.
Saint John businesses have been struggling with crime and pushing for more action since 2024. They say crime has grown because of homelessness in the city.
