New Brunswick RCMP are looking to the public for help identifying the driver involved in a fatal hit and run Tuesday night near Oromocto.
In a news release on Wednesday afternoon, the New Brunswick RCMP said a 19-year-old man from Norton was killed. His name was not released by police.
“The collision is believed to have occurred when the driver of a vehicle had pulled over due to mechanical issues, exited the vehicle, and was struck by another vehicle travelling eastbound on Route 2,” the release said.
