There were more than 50 vehicle collisions across New Brunswick within 17 hours during the nor’easter that continued to hammer the province with heavy snow and high winds into Tuesday morning, according to RCMP.
Officers responded to about 36 crashes between 2 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday, and received 14 complaints about dangerous road conditions, an RCMP spokesperson wrote in an email to Radio-Canada Tuesday morning.
That doesn’t include Codiac Regional RCMP, who responded to about 15 collisions and traffic hazards complaints in their jurisdiction alone since 5 p.m. Monday, according to Cpl.
