Some New Brunswick artists are using the road as their canvas this weekend at Shediac’s Hom’art Festival. 

On top of highlighting chalk and street art, the annual festival also displays other forms of art such as theatre, dance, visual arts and busking.

Mylène Comeau, assistant director of the festival, said the chalk art aspect of the festival is a “pertinent” part.

Howe, who has been an artist for 30 years and started doing chalk art a few years ago, said this type of art is about the process,
