A preliminary inquiry has been scheduled for next spring for a man accused of a murder in Moncton.
James Hannah, 30, faces a charge of first-degree murder. It’s alleged he killed Zachary Pollock on Aug. 26.
The 34-year-old was found with what police have described as serious injuries in a parking lot outside the Bridge to Home Shelter and Resource Hub on St. George Street. He was transported to hospital but died of his injuries.
RCMP have not said whether Pollock was injured at the shelter or whether a weapon was used.
Hannah was arrested Aug. 31 and charged the following day. He’s remained in custody since then.
3-day inquiry scheduled
Hannah appeared in Moncton provincial court again on Thursday morning.
