A man accused of assaulting a musician in Moncton earlier this year pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated assault.
Luke Thomas Walter Powers, 43, pleaded guilty to assaulting John McLaren, who he knew, outside a downtown bar in Moncton on March 14 and endangering his life.
When New Brunswick RCMP responded to the call, which was made just before midnight, McLaren was found unconscious and injured.
A friend of McLaren told CBC News in March that McLaren was in the intensive care unit with a facial fracture and head injury.
