Provincial funds paying the lawyers of five people co-accused of conspiring to kill a man have been pulled, adding delays to the case in Moncton.
Janson Baker, Nicholas Bain, Jesse Logue, Monique Boyer and Christopher Lennon are co-accused of conspiring to kill Sylvio Saulnier.
He was the son of Rose-Marie and Bernard Saulnier, who were in their 70s when they were killed in their home on Amirault Street in Dieppe in 2019. In March, a jury found Baker guilty of murdering the couple.
Sylvio Saulnier died by suicide in 2023.
