The City of Fredericton is preparing for a summer of substantial construction projects, which include closures to part of Westmorland Street and reduced access to the bridge connecting the north and south sides of the city.
City staff held a technical briefing on Thursday outlining the city’s major projects for the upcoming construction season.
Most notably, a portion of Westmorland Street will be closed for upgrades to drainage pipes during phase one of the project between King and Queen streets.
Motorists will be able to access the bridge via the on and off-ramps on St. Anne’s Point Drive, as well as the Queen Street intersection.
