Landlord Nick Price was on vacation when he learned that the apartment building he owns on the north side of Fredericton was in flames.
Price, who is in Thailand, got a call from his brother and originally didn’t believe the fire was happening — until he was sent a video showing the flames coming out the top of the building at 453 Bowlen St.
“It’s just shocking, to be honest, to be there one day and gone the next.”
The Fredericton Fire Department was alerted to the fire at about 2:15 a.m.
