Murray McFarlane has an exhibition on in Saint John and a description of the paintings are on his website. The exhibition is being hosted at the Saint John Arts Centre from May 8th to July 3rd, 2015.
I have chosen as the featured image his New Brunswick Ditch of which he says, “This is one of the delights of summer and a reason to take your time as you drive on our country roads. In my books, no well-tended flower garden is any more beautiful than this wild and glorious tangle“.
Here’s a couple more in the exhibition.
In addition to landscapes reflecting all the seasons Murray has included portraits, one of himself. Murray works from his “Sticks & Stones Studio” in Holtville, New Brunswick.
