The Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity (CIC) at the University of New Brunswick is proud to announce the 22nd Annual International Conference on Privacy, Security, and Trust (PST2025). This year’s event will convene cybersecurity leaders, policymakers, and researchers from across Canada to explore the evolving challenges of cyber attribution and international cybersecurity collaboration.

The Cybersecurity Industry Summit will take place on August 26, followed by the academic conference on August 27–28 at UNB in Fredericton. With 160 research papers submitted from 37 countries, PST2025 continues to demonstrate its global reach and reputation.

Opening remarks will be delivered by the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, the Honourable Renée Legacy, Tricia Geddes, and Dr. Paul Mazerolle. A featured panel titled “Cyber Attribution – Beyond the Breach” will bring together experts from academia, government, and industry to discuss the complexities of cyber incident attribution and policy implications.

Speakers from leading organizations—including the Canadian Centre for Cybersecurity, RCMP, Global Affairs Canada, Mastercard, Scotiabank, Rogers, TD Bank, and Sun Life—will share insights on cybersecurity resilience and innovation.

“The Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity continues to strengthen Canada’s digital resilience and economic growth,” said Dr. Ali Ghorbani, CIC’s founding director.

PST2025 offers a unique blend of academic rigour and industry insight, fostering collaboration across sectors to shape the future of cybersecurity in Canada and beyond.
