At the Harvest Jazz & Blues 2017 Saturday afternoon show at Congo Square there was lots going on. In addition to the formal performances, such as that by the young guitar phenom, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer:
there was group drumming with real drums—much better than knee drums—and what a great sound everybody made under the gentle lead of Doug Rigaux!
But really impressive was how the kids took to Canada150: they were all over the sign enjoying Canada together. Just the way it should be.
