A 30-year-old man accused of conspiring to kill the son of a Dieppe couple murdered in 2019 will appear in court Wednesday for his bail hearing.

Nicholas Bain recently underwent a 30-day fitness assessment at the Restigouche Hospital Centre in Campbellton by request of the Crown in his case.

Bain previously underwent a shorter evaluation, but prosecutor Patrick Wilbur had requested a longer one, and said he had “concerns” he hoped a 30-day assessment would address.
