Andy Creeggan offers “Andiwork IV”, an album without language barriers since it is instrumental. It has been almost 12 years since his last solo project of the artist, first known as a founding member of Barenaked Ladies. Music connoisseurs will find something to satisfy their ears as the album delves into almost every musical genre. The album includes eleven compositions as well as a tribute to Erik Satie in two songs.
Andrew’s extensive background is sure to turn heads: three solo albums (including a 2011 Grammy nomination for Andywork III), four albums with the Brothers Creeggan and two with The Barenaked Ladies (Juno winner in 1992), as well as multiple collaborations with various artists for theater music, symphonic ensembles, pop artists and electro jazz projects, etc.
A collaborative album
This album is a collaborative effort with some of today’s top Acadian musicians. Indeed, the artist has surrounded himself with the talented Kevin McIntyre (bass), Mico Roy (moog synth), Maxence Cormier (percussion), Sébastien Michaud (brass), George Belliveau (guitar), not to mention two longtime collaborators, his brother and Barenaked Ladies bassist Jim Creeggan (bass and double bass) and master engineer/producer Michael Philip Wojewoda (executive producer)! Andy himself produced, mixed, and played more than 15 instruments! The cover art is by graphic artist Mark Young. The album will be distributed in stores and on various digital platforms by Distribution Plages / Propagande Distribution. The album will be available on September 24th. The album will also be released in vinyl format.

The artist received support from the Canada Council for the Arts and Music New Brunswick for the production and promotion of his album.
