Darlene McFawn of Maugerville, New Brunswick won our draw at NBEX from among those signing up for our newsletter. The prizes include books by Sheila McPhee, CDs from Nouzie friend & rocker in Calgary Lou Rye, and free passes to UnPlugged on Queen Street.
Darlene’s husband Fred dropped in last week to pick up the prizes but we had hoped to have a picture of Darlene. She obliged this week and although she looks suitably serious for the photo she was a lot of fun to meet.
Darlene says her seven year old granddaughter, Rachel, will enjoy playing board games with her at UnPlugged—Rachel has had lots of fun there before. Rachel will also enjoy reading the kids books included in Sheila’s donated prizes. Fred & Darlene will no doubt enjoy Lou Rye’s CDs: rock on McFawns!
