Canada’s cell phone market has been broken for way too long. The Big Three’s stronghold over our wireless market has limited competition and means people in Canada continue to pay some of the highest mobile prices in the world.
But thanks to the hundreds of thousands of people that have spoken out demanding more mobile choice, competition and lower prices, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has finally put forward a historic opportunity to revamp our wireless market and bring in new providers that can fairly compete with the Big Three. So we can’t stop now — we must turn this into a national movement.
If we can make it clear how broken our cell phone market is, the CRTC will have no choice but to fundamentally change the system and ensure we have high quality, affordable cell phone service in Canada.
Tell the CRTC: It’s time to overhaul Canada’s wireless market!
