New Brunswick RCMP say a woman from Grand Manan is dead following an ATV crash on the island.
A press release on Thursday said officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash around 11:26 a.m. on Wednesday on Hill Road in Grand Harbour.
“The crash is believed to have occurred when the eastbound ATV left the roadway and entered the ditch,” the release said.
The driver and only occupant of the ATV, a 63-year-old woman from Grand Manan, died at the scene from her injuries, the release said.
The investigation is ongoing and an autopsy has been scheduled.
