Ridge – The Fugitives: A Special Remembrance Day presentation

Ridge is a theatrical concert built around the experiences of WWI soldiers.

During this time, men in the trenches wrote and sang their own music. Some were funny. Others heartbreaking. Ridge collects those songs and performs them live alongside a gripping narrative.

Acclaimed folk group, The Fugitives, will perform songs from their JUNO-nominated album Trench Songs. It centres on the Battle of Vimy Ridge, often called “the battle that made Canada.” Each song draws from lyrics written by soldiers and reflects on how and why we grieve.

If you’re looking to mark Remembrance Day in a meaningful way, Ridge offers a space to reflect, listen, and remember.

Please be advised this performance contains mature themes and subject matter.
