Dozens gathered in Centennial Park in Moncton on Saturday to show support for survivors of sexual and domestic violence.
Front-line workers, advocates, and community members participated in Crossroads for Women’s third annual Ride for Refuge event, a national walking and biking fundraiser that supports local charities.
Hannah Lisson, the organization’s fund development and marketing co-ordinator, said this year’s event comes as Crossroads marks its 45th anniversary and amid recent news stories involving allegations of violence against women.
