Government offices, liquor stores, and most major retail and grocery stores will be closed on Monday for Labour Day. Public transit will also not run in Moncton, Saint John or Fredericton.

The City of Moncton’s regular council meeting will be held on Tuesday, following the holiday.

Here is a partial list of what’s open and closed on Monday.

  • Sobeys, Walmart, Atlantic Superstore locations will be closed.
  • N.B. Liquor and Cannabis N.B. will be closed.
  • Most Shoppers Drug Mart locations will be open, hours depend on location.
  • Saint John City Market will be closed.
  • Regent Mall in Fredericton will be closed.
