The pedestrian struck in a suspected hit and run early this month near Sackville has died from his injuries, RCMP say.
The 51-year-old Shediac man was taken to the hospital with critical injuries on Aug. 6 after police responded to a reported hit and run along Route 2 near the Walker Road intersection at about 5 a.m., RCMP said.
The man was carrying two bags and wearing dark clothes, including a black hoodie, at the time, RCMP said in their update Thursday announcing the victim had died.
Police say anyone who was on Route 2, between Amherst, N.S., and Sackville, between 6 p.m. on Aug. 5 and 5 a.m. on Aug.
