A former motel near downtown Moncton is being converted into supportive housing units.
The GO Motel building site at 1650 Main St., is owned by the United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick.
On Tuesday morning, the province announced the organization will be managing 14 supportive housing units on site. The almost $773,000 project is funded by the New Brunswick Housing Corporation, with the goal of supporting those experiencing chronic homelessness.
