For Grade 12 student Alexis Reid, Reach for the Top is more than just trivia.
Reid is part of Fredericton High School’s Reach for the Top team, which is in Moncton this weekend competing in the national finals. The competition tests students’ knowledge on a variety of topics such as math, science, geography, sports and pop culture.
Joining the team three years ago has made a profound impact on Reid.
“It has boosted my confidence … when I first started, I was very introverted in the way that I wouldn’t talk to people,” Reid said.
