While many incumbent councillors will be returning to their roles, a host of new councillors will also be sworn in across the province. That includes some who are a part of a new generation.

That includes Julianna Mutch, 31, who was elected as a Ward 3 councillor in Moncton, and Jacob Levesque, 26, who was elected as a councillor-at-large for Dieppe.

Both said in an interview with Information Morning Moncton that the campaign season was busy.

“The next day was like a blur, ‘Did that really happen?’” Levesque said.
