In one of the last decisions they’ll make together, Saint John councillors voted Monday to make no immediate changes to the public hearing process.
Instead they opted for asking for a stronger “implementation plan” for potential changes to the rules governing how the public can address council.
The final decision will be for the next council to make after municipal elections are held provincewide on May 11.
This was the second meeting in a row that council wrestled with changing the procedural bylaws behind the public hearing process.
