Five-year-old Gracie Mae Brown picked a shiny pink bike from Krista Richard’s garage in Moncton on Sunday.
Richard is in the 14th year of running a bike giveaway program called Bikes and Trikes for Everyone.
She collects donated bikes throughout the year and fixes them for free annual giveaways, running from April to October.
Brown was one of more than 400 kids on the program’s waiting list. She got to pick her favourite bike out of more than 80 available options.
