It all started with kitchen parties in their home in North Tetagouche, near Bathurst N.B.

Now, the LeBlanc family’s take on traditional Celtic Acadian music has reached an international audience on TikTok; some of their videos are receiving millions of views and they have over 112,000 followers.

The band, La famille LeBlanc, consists of three sisters – Rosalie, 17, Mélodie, 15, and Charlotte, 18 – along with their father, Robin, and their mother, Rebecca Huot-LeBlanc.

Robin said the band’s success on social media has allowed people from across the world to become interested in Acadian culture in New Brunswick.
