A Grand Manan woman says air ambulance patients should get better support when they’re released from hospital after her brother, wearing slippers with no socks and a hoodie without a coat, was given a cab voucher to return home to the island from Saint John after tests last week for potential stroke symptoms.
“Thankfully nothing happened. He got home safe,” Stephanie Fleet said.
