A four-day disciplinary hearing for suspended Fredericton lawyer Stephen James Hill will proceed after a panel denied his request for another adjournment in the matter.
Hill was suspended by the New Brunswick Law Society in February 2025 over multiple allegations of misconduct and misappropriated funds, pending a decision by a panel of the discipline committee.
That hearing was originally scheduled for Nov. 25-28, but the day before it was set to begin, the matter was adjourned, so Hill could secure legal representation. The hearing was postponed until March 23.
