A 36-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder and attempted murder in relation to a stabbing incident Monday evening in Saint John.
Saint John police responded to a stabbing call around 8 p.m. in the area of Wellington Row in the city’s uptown, according to a statement from the Saint John Police Force.
A 46-year-old man was sent to hospital but was pronounced dead.
A second individual, a 44-year-old man, is still in hospital in serious condition.
Staff Sgt. Sarah Hobbs said it’s too early to speculate if the accused knew the victims or had a previous history.
