RCMP have identified Melissa Price as the woman found dead in a Moncton garbage bin last month.
In a news release issued Monday morning, police said they are still investigating the death of the 39-year-old as a homicide.
The update comes more than two weeks after police announced they responded to a report of a sudden death on Feb. 15 around 12:10 p.m. on High Street in central Moncton.
“As police continue to investigate the matter, the NB RCMP would like to reassure the public that there is no on-going concern for public safety, as this is believed to be an isolated incident,” Monday’s release said.
