Jurors in a Moncton double murder trial saw more images of the scene recorded by police at the start of the investigation.

The images were shown Monday as Janson Baker’s trial on two counts of first-degree murder continued. It’s alleged he killed Bernard Saulnier, 78, and his wife, 74-year-old Rose-Marie Saulnier, on Sept. 7, 2019 in Dieppe.

Baker pleaded not guilty when the trial began at the start of the month.

Monday’s testimony came from two forensics officers about taking photographs or video of the scene, as well as about a wallet found on a street about a kilometre from the couple’s home the morning of their deaths.
