APEGNB FREDDY FRIGHT FEST 2025

Welcome to the 5th annual Freddy Fright Fest! We have joined forces with Paramedic’s Association of NB Nightmare on Smythe Street to bring you this new Downtown Fredericton Halloween event in support of the Charlotte Street Arts Centre and Fredericton Hospice.

Location: Officers’ Square

Weave through the various themed stations of our haunted house style tour and experience all manner of terror at each stop. We will see you coming, but you won’t see us! The tour is certainly not for the faint of heart, but we promise you’ll leave with a smile on your face.

Tours will run every 15 minutes and pre-booking is recommended but walk-ins are welcome. Depending on your group tours range from 10-20 minutes. The tour does not have a specific minimum age but does include jump scares, creepy costumes, and general spookiness so be fair warned.

This is a HIGH SCARE event, we do not enforce an age limit but it is suggested for ages 10+.

LOW SCARE HAUNTED TOUR

Looking for Halloween fun without the fright? Join Science East for our annual Low-Scare Haunted Tour — a family-friendly Halloween adventure designed especially for kids and families. Explore Officers’ Square as it transforms into a playful, spooky wonderland filled with glowing pumpkins, festive decorations, and hands-on science activities that bring Halloween to life.

This Fredericton tradition welcomes over 1,000 participants each year and is the perfect way to celebrate the season together. Whether you’re stirring up potions, exploring mysterious experiments, or simply enjoying the festive atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.
