A 28-year-old Shediac woman died in a crash in Lakeville, N.B., on Saturday, police say in a media release.
Shediac RCMP responded to a report of a crash on Route 15 at 3:20 a.m.
Upon arrival, police found a vehicle engulfed in flames. The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP believe the woman was travelling west when her vehicle crossed into the other lane and entered a construction zone, where it hit a parked vehicle, says the release.
An investigation has begun.
